Wite-out and Damascus Steel

Atlantic Monthly recently did an article on why Wite-out and Liquid Paper are still a popular product in the digital age. And then Atlantic readers responded with their own Wite-out uses.

The popularity of these products in metalworking really surprised me. No doubt some folks here are knowledgeable on the topic, but I though this video on making Damascus steel was interesting.

Great stuff for doing flat pattern layout on steel and alum. Try an keep at least 6 bottles on hand. If you use a felt tip marker on 3000 and 6000 series alum will alter the surface finish over time!
