Low-Tech Magazine...
For those of you who may not follow Low-Tech Magazine, they have just announced that they will be printing via print on demand the last few years of their websites articles. They have decided that you don't need a computer to read a book and websites aren't forever. Further more, they don't have much faith in the longevity of the internet.
I think the articles are really well research and have many useful things for Green Wizards to consider as we slide down the slope of decline. Check it out.

Hand Drills
Thanks for posting I stop by there every couple of months. Great article a few years ago about hand drills mostly Miller falls brand so I went from having 2 Stanley Drills to about 12 Miller Falls Drills. The Miller Falls Drills sell for a much lower price at the local flea market. IMHO there build quality is first class. Will order the book tomorrow. Thanks again. From what I have been reading about the internet and grid some people think 8-10 years.

Takes the steam(punk)
Well, that takes the steam(punk) out of me! I just came up with the idea to do a print-on-demand serial magazine called Serial Skiller with an eclectic mix of plant facts, science tidbits, measurement equivalents, semaphore, etc.I am sure that Low-Tech has a much more extensive backlog of good articles to offer than I have, and better organized too. Shoot!

Don't let that stop you...
Don't let that stop you! Such a great name deserves to be used!
Seriously, the presence of Low-Tech Magazine didn't kill Make, or the Society of Primitive Technology, or Open Source Ecology, or Aprovecho, or Treehugger, or blogs of embroidery tutorials - your description makes it sound like your niches are different enough that there's still room for you -

Awesome sauce.
Hi Kay,
I was just about to post this, but you beat me to it. I'll be ordering a copy of this book for my personal library! Love their site. I see them as a definite ally to Green Wizardry.
