Waving engine, a woodworkin machine

This is a machine that has been around since the 17th century, but is now making a small comeback.

Essentially it is a device for making “ripple mouldings” for framework. It is a hand crank device that pulls wood through a cutter that moves by the direction of a template attached to the wood being carved.
