The rate at which we are cutting down the World's forest isn't slowing. With the destruction of our forests goes the filtering mechanism which removes pollutants and CO2 from our atmosphere, as well as renews the oxygen we need to live. My take away is that we're screwed for the most part. Stopping the drivers of Collapse are off the table, there is neither the political nor economic will to address them. Instead its going to be approaches like Green Wizardry, which advocate adaption and person change, which will see a portion of human population survive the next century of Collapse.
