Is there a word for a male (or non female) midwife?

Seriously, with nurse practitioners becoming almost as accepted as doctors, midwifes will become a staple of birthing practices rather than hospitals in the next decades as the Collapse progresses. Not just for cost, but because the whole industrial hospital industry, like the college educational industry has gotten too bloated with overhead to survive in its current expensive and predatory fashion.

I wonder what are good books to add to a family's Green Wizard library on this?
