Potable, Secure PC In Your Pocket

No not your cell phone, that thing has more people listening in to what you do than a church social. I mean a pocket zip drive configured to run as a portable and secure computer.

"How to Run Your Own Secure, Portable PC From a USB Stick - Build a super-safe computer you can take anywhere."

"For those looking for the ultimate in portability and security in their computing, there's the option of running a system straight from a USB drive you can carry around in your pocket. Plug this into a spare USB port on a Windows or macOS computer, and the flash drive acts as the storage and the software of the system while borrowing everything else—display, keyboard, processor, graphics—from the machine it's connected to. Shut down the computer, pull out the USB drive, and it's as if you were never there. It's an appealing option for those who value their privacy, as well as those who spend a lot of time moving between offices."

I know that people read what we write here on Green Wizards and think we're all a bunch of anti-technology Luddites. We're not though. We just realize that our over extended technological obsessed society isn't going to have the money nor the resources to give everyone the cyber connected future of sci-fi films, nor for that fact will many of you reading this even be able to afford the tech level we have now in a few decades. The Internet runs on advertising, and once society collapses enough that most of the Masses of social media junkies no longer have the money to be on the Web, it will collapse back to a plaything of the Rich.

Repurposing older PCs and laptops is one option for those tech savy enough to do it. Another will be having a pocket USB drive, which allows you to carry your important files and programs with you as you travel. Now is the time, when you still have access to the equipment to set something like this up, to do it.
