Talking about repealing mice, who has heard that mint oil does the job?

This video does an unscientific test. They put out a box with bait (sunflower seeds) and allowed the mice to get used to the box, then hung mint oil in the box to test its effectiveness. The mint oil were in two small vials hung on the side of the box inside. In this instance it did seem to keep the mice from eating the bait.
