Here's a great old time book, "Carpentry for Boys", now as a downloadable pdf.
Post any other old books on wood working, home and cabinet building and carpentry as pdfs you can find.

Old Carpentry Books
Very cool, I'll have to give this a read through!
I do have one older carpentry text from 1928, its volume one from "The International Library of Technology". I got it pretty cheaply from abebooks.com.
It's a dense and good looking book, I'm hoping to go through it eventually. I am still wanting to read up more on modern carpentry as well though (!) but I would like to compare some of the methods. Another thing I'd like to look into is the old post and beam style carpentry.
