Water In the Dry Land (a post peak fiction)

Hello fellow Green Wizards,

It's been quite awhile since I've posted, but in the meantime I have been working on becoming a more resilient individual as well as working to make my home more resilient. I've also been writing. In the spring of 2012 my post-peak novellette Water, In the Dry Land was published by a local small press, alongside another story by my friend Chuck Byrd. I've since serialized the entire story on my website. I thought people here might enjoy a tale of human trafficking, water shortages, and a second dust bowl in the American Southwest. I consider it rated R for anyone who might be worried of such a thing, because sometimes gangsters and criminals don't talk or act like well mannered people.

Below are links to the story:

And while I haven't commented I have popped in from time to time to read some of the threads and posts here. I hope to be more (inter)active as time allows.

I just finished the first section, and intend to read all of it as time permits. Living in the south west questions about what the water wars of the 21st century might be like are on my mind. Your writing style had just the right amount of grit and noir to season.
