Most of these jobs are firmly in the main stream, but that isn't neccessarily bad. For at least the next century, some measure of "technological world" is still going to be up and running. Having a regular job which helps mitigate the worst of the Collapse, while also learning how to make changes in your life and skills needed to make do with less, as a green wizard will be a viable choice.
