We will meet on Saturday July 7 to attend the Whiskey Rebellion Festival in Washington, PA (south of Pittsburgh). We will plan to meet at 2:30 p.m. at the Bradford House, where we can tour the historical sites and see historical demonstrations. We will meet on Tuesday June 19 at 5 p.m. to visit the Bethel Park Farmers' Market in South Park, near the ice-skating rink . The market offers "fresh produce, quality meats & chicken, prepared foods, snacks, garden plants, flowers and much more!"

We will meet on Wednesday April 25 from 6-to-7 p.m. at the Bridgeville Public Library to hear a free presentation from Blue Heron Nature Skills. The subject, presented by a local foraging expert, is an introduction to the carrot family. (There are many poisonous look-alikes here, so knowledge is especially important!)

The presenter is a registered nurse, master gardener, and long-term herbalist. The talk will be followed by a chocolate tasting. You must register in advance, and space is limited.
