Setting a Limit on Gifts
I don't read the "women's magazines," but somebody left one in the shop this week. In a column a woman said that she gave up on all the holiday madness and limited her kids to four gifts for Christmas: "Something they wanted, something they needed, something to wear, and something to read." And when they protested, she told them the Baby Jesus only got three presents, so get over it.
